The School for Classical & Contemporary Dance at TCU believes that dance education begins in the studio with equal emphasis on classical and contemporary dance training. Technical training supported by scholarly inquiry and the ability to make informed artistic choices prepare students to explore the language of dance as both creators and performers. At TCU, student dancers are embraced in a unique liberal arts setting and educated to live — and dance — in the world as visionary leaders, active participants and collaborative partners.
